The first ever anthology of creative writing from University Centre Peterborough is currently being produced by an editorial team of talented final year English students.
‘The Other Side: An Anthology of New Writing’ will be published by Gatehouse Press this June.
From neurotic mothers and an eight-year-old arsonist to bleak futures where trees have become myth, ‘The Other Side’ brings together a collection of poetry and prose from a multigenerational collective of emerging women writers.
The Editor in Chief of the anthology, Kat Beeton, said: “The team are passionate about celebrating and contributing to the vibrant arts scene in Peterborough.”
The launch event, featuring readings from the authors, will draw together VIPs from across the city’s cultural and arts sectors.
The event will take place at the University at 7pm on Wednesday, June 15th. Free tickets are now available to the public via Eventbrite.
