The winners for the University Centre Peterborough Christmas hunt for Dave the Elf on Canvas have been chosen and announced in the Student Briefing this week.
The first entry overall is Simone Wright and the first entry from a Stamford-based student (2nd overall!) is Rachel Gilbert.
The winning creative entry is Louisa Cox who submitted a poem about Dave's adventures.
Each of the top prize winners are to be gifted a UCP Hoody.
Further congratulations also go to Coralie Helcoop and Sky Sawyn who also won prizes.

I spent my time looking for Dave,
He’s been busy with assignments and under lots of stress,
But he has been very brave.
Thanks to the lovely staff at UCP, he had everything he could need,
His assignments were on Canvas and were easy to read.
He didn’t know how to return his book,
But the canvas library hub told him where to look.
Dave drowned in a high energy bill,
But the student support finance team took away his chill.
An emergency hospital visit nearly cost Dave his grade,
But, never fear, a plan was quickly made.
As student support helped Dave to complete his presentation another day.
Oh no! Canvas is down, so Dave starts to pray.
Thankfully, the friendly ILT team fixed the issue straight away,
So Dave left some positive feedback on Canvas, as he was no longer feeling grey.
Dave started a society and applied for a new job,
Dave has been busy writing his ethics approval with his best friend Bob.
Dave is looking forward to the sweets he will eat,
And then it’s time for Dave’s Spanish Christmas adventure, in the heat.
Semester one has been very long,
But Dave has been very strong.Semester two, he will be back,
He will be refreshed and ready with his schedule back on track.
So, FELIZ NAVIDAD, Merry Christmas, and a Happy New Year,
Dave is nervous, anxious and full of fear,
But it will be worth it when he celebrates at graduation, with a cheer.
